Dear Achaea,
As I have mentioned elsewhere, Asara has at
last departed the realms to meet the Tritonic kings of old.
Thus my mapping enterprise must
likewise end. Thank you very much for making them a part of your adventures for
all
these years, and am glad to hear they helped as much as they did. I have
been honoured by all your gracious words.
You all will be deeply missed!
Originally in 2002, my maps were created out of frustration
that I could not find any accurate and updated Achaean maps. Several
months
and requests later, my maps were hosted online to be shared by all. They aren't
exactly the prettiest things, but they give you what
you want: accuracy and
efficiency in their simplicity, and they are designed more for practicality than
artistic flair. But even if they aren't
completely "professional" looking,
the timing and accuracy of the maps is the benefit: they are usually one of the
first ones up and posted the
same day or two after new areas have arrived,
and you will find them to be updated so often that they become the most
accurate and reliable
maps ever. (Thanks to
you folks who tell me of my mistakes and area changes!)
Today, mapping has apparently become trendy and you may
find other great maps via the LINKS link (Kudos to my fellow cartographers!) I
am
humbled as always that people continue to find my work and website useful
despite my very limited computer ability, and am happy to be of
service.

My mapping policy consists of making maps which have not
yet been mapped. (Unless you request one of me. *Denotes a requested map.)
If
there's something not here, then it's probably already been done. They are
in .gif format, and I am Java/Nexus user. I don't use any specific
mapping
program; just Microsoft paint. Each square is clicked individually and each line
is drawn tediously, all from scratch, with much love
and time put into those
maps. Therefore no, I have no idea how ZMud mapper works, unfortunately, and am
unable to answer any questions
concerning such, because I make all my maps by
hand.
If I have map mistakes, PLEASE message me about them so I can
fix them. They are updated real-time, ASAP!
It is
my number one priority that they are accurate.
Make sure you
are always viewing the updated map versions: try right-clicking the individual
page and refresh/reload the page/frame from there.
